Cannot create a Tile on SAP Fiori on S/4HANA 1511

Hello all,

This is a very urgent issue:

 

We opened "Create KPI" in KPI Modeler and tried to create a Fiori tile, but the error message goes:" Error while saving file."

There are two errors from HTTP(F21): about "gateway hub system" and  "Interner server error (500)"

 

The HTTP log(F12) says:

  • Error (500, Internal Server Error) in OData response for POST "/sap/opu/odata/UI2/PAGE_BUILDER_CUST/PageChipInstances": HTTP request failed

We successfully created and activated KPI and evaluation, but only got errors about TILES.

We assume this is about Gateway but not really sure about it.

HANA log does not say anything about this issue (no error/warning logs).

SM21 and AL11 show some errors but no short dumps (ST22).

 

We are in urgency. Anybody help?

Missing Analysis for Office

I am using "SAP Netweaver AS ABAP and SAP BW 7.5 SP01 on HANA SP10[Developer Edition]" on SAPCAL. Thank you very much for making this available. I am confused, though, by one omission. You have excluded "SAP BusinessObjects Analysis, edition for Microsoft Office" from the image. This is odd, since you have included Design Studio. AO is the basis for many new offerings from SAP. Can you possibly consider adding AO to this image? I am proofing certain approaches to Integrated Planning. AO is your recommended tool. Thanks in advance.

CAL SOLMAN 7.2 logical component groups empty?

Hello colleagues,

I have successfully registered to the CAL SOLMAN 7.2 trial system, after much trial and effort…

Thanks for SAP for many presentations and explanations – but some are misleading….

  1. In the presentation "Solman72onCALfor SolEd v1" given at the SOLED 2015 meeting, it indicates to sign up in AWS for "the policy AmazonS3FullAccess to the group". This was not accurate and only after different instructions from a later PDF was I able to register.
  2. The IP address of the CAL instance is sensitive to firewalls and organizational security stuff. So I always access via my private wifi or hot spot.
  3. The IP address pf the CAL instance (you can see it in the CAL instance details) CHANGES every time the instance is activated for use. You cannot see it from your SAPLOGON! So if you need the IP to bring over the transport etc. this is important. Not explained in any documentation…

Otherwise – I could use some advice for this question:

I brought over a legacy project and imported it. Began the PREPARE_ACTIVATION, checked my project that was brought over.

But when I proceeded to the new Logical component groups part – nothing appears, which seems logical because the new CAL system does not know my old landscape..

But if it is empty – you cannot advance in the setup. No logical components connected!

Any tip?

I am not able to create instance for SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP and SAP BW 7.5 SP01 on SAP HANA SP10 [Developer Edition], with AWS and region US-EAST1.

Did any one faced the same issue earlier, please help.

SAP* or DDIC initial passwords

I set up a 30 day demo account linked to AWS and can get to the point where I am presented with a logon screen for SID A4H, but the password provided in the "Getting started" guide for users SAP* and DDIC gives error message "Name or password is incorrect (repeat logon)".  Who can validate what the initial password should be?

Can you please share your experience from this upgrade? Were you successfull in running the scripts?

 

Why I am asking is because to run the scripts you must have a connection to the Internet, which I would think that all bigger companies try to avoid. We have blocked this and are therefore not able to run the upgrade a suggested by AWS.

 

Any information or experiences around this would be helpful

Web Browser page cannot be displayed

Hi there,

 

Whenever I go into the workcenter or a browser related tcode it loads in the browser but says page cannot be displayed.

 

Therefore i cant use any of the functionality.

 

Any suggestions?

I am unable to activate SAP ERP Foundation Extension powered by SAP HANA  solution in CAL. I am encountering familiar export control check failed error. Can you do the needful.


I was wondering why I am getting the export control check error every time I am trying to activate a solution. Is there something wrong with my account or location (I am based out or United States).

Unable to launch Enterprise Service Builder

I have an instance of Intelligent Business Operations: SAP Process Orchestration 7.4 SPS 11 and SAP Operational Process Intelligence 1.0 SPS 09, and am in my PI landing page. I can start the SLD, Service Registry and several others but when I try to start the ESB I get a popup telling me that I need to specify what to do with a jnlp file. I said open with Firefox but now I get another popup talking about trusted sites. Anyone know what the hell this is all about? And how to get it fixed so that I can open the ESB properly?

Today (after about 2 months) I try to start and connect to my CAL-SAP-System on AWS.

 

1) When the system was activated

 

2) I connected  to the front end and started SAP Logon.

3) I entered the IP-adresse <52.90.8.73> of the backend system  in the field “Application Server”

 

Conneting I’ve got the error:

    “partner 52.90.8.73:sapdp00 not reached”

Deploy Solution to existing environment

Hi

 

I would like to deploy a Development Instance to our existing environment within Azure.

We already have a configured Network and Subnet I want to use when deploying.

 

When I want to create a new deployment, I was not able to select the existing network resource, only the default, SAP CAL Default network.

 

Is it possible to select my existing resources?

SAP Predictive Analytics (CAL/ AWS) Problem to log in via RDP to Win Frontend

Hi,

 

While trying to connect to the CAL/ AWS instance for SAP Predictive Analytics, the user/password provided in the guide ito log in using Win Frontend is not working anymore.

 

user: SIDADM

password: Master Password

 

Is there anybody else with the same issue?

S/4 HANA Free Trial

I've set up our SAP S/4 HANA free trial and now cannot access the instance.  The instance shows as undefined and there is no nowhere to connect.  Any help would be appreciated.  We have to see the demo system to make a recommendation on a new system.  Thank you.

CAL creation: Create default subnets step fails with invalid AWS availabilityZone

I tried to create an instance of "Intelligent Business Operations: SAP Process Orchestration 7.4 SPS 11 and SAP Operational Process Intelligence 1.0 SPS 09" a few moments ago.

 

However the "Create default subnets" step failed with the following message:

 

The error is:

com.amazonaws.AmazonServiceException: Value (us-east-1a) for parameter availabilityZone is invalid. Subnets can currently only be created in the following availability zones: us-east-1d, us-east-1c, us-east-1e, us-east-1b. (Service: AmazonEC2; Status Code: 400; Error Code: InvalidParameterValue


Any ideas how to correct this?

Username and Password for sap hana developer edition sps 10

Hey there!

 

I just setup the sap hana developer edition sps 10 instance on an microsoft azure server. But when I try to connect to the db by using the hana studio i allways get the message that my password is incorrect.

 

I used the user: SYSTEM and for the password the <master password> which was entered during the instance setup.

Depending on the day I get refused connection from the remote desktop to the SAP system. The refused connection is happening three or four times as frequently as a successful connection..

Suggestions to get started with SAP BW 7.4 / BO BI 4.1 / HANA 1?

Folks,

 

Despite creating four different instances I've not yet had BW, BO and HANA start successfully (see below).


On one occasion HANA did start and turned green in MMC, also at that time I was able to log into the BI Launch Pad and CMC. Actually, I noticed in CMC that various servers weren't running and the license key was only valid to the end of last month, not sure if this is an issue.


Any insight or suggestions gratefully received.
